Alongside a team of emerging digital creators and experienced professionals, Ruth developed and exhibited a prototype project with BOM (Birmingham Open Media). The project explores how K’antu Ensemble’s historical performances can be reimagined within immersive digital environments, incorporating motion capture and metahuman technologies to bring musical heritage into new virtual spaces.

Technology and Accessibility
Ruth is currently working on combining her experience in SEND music education with digital media. In collaboration with the University of Birmingham’s ElectroAcoustic experts, emerging young composers, and children from special schools, she is now exploring accessible composition using new technologies, augmented reality, and binaural sound.
